BH's Spicette, bred by Sonja Lyons of Bramblehedge Rabbitry, has produced a fantastic group of show juniors that have been winning all over the NW. She's now my foundation doe, retired from showing after winning 7 GC legs. Thriantas are nicely linebred Whitman and Carr lines, mostly from Sonja Lyons of Netherland Dwarf rabbits are mainly brokens from Doug Sprague , agoutis, and our newest color, red, from DAD's Rabbitry , and from Becky Sailer of Bitterroot Bunny Barn in Montana. We're firm believers in breeding for disposition as well as type, and the lines we've chosen are producing both, from Best of Breed winners to house pets! Irish Rose Aalbessen (BH's Irish x BH's Spicette), has been slow to develop, but oh, what a nice buck he's turning into! He's a young senior, and has consistently been in the top of his classes, but he's just now getting his mature width and depth.
Irish Rose Killian's Red, Thrianta senior buck. He's been a wonderful show buck, winning 9 GC legs to date; he's linebred Bramblehedge & is his first kits are looking very promising.
This little cutie is one of my first kits to show out of my 3rd generation of Thriantas - I really love this whole litter's short bodies, super width, short and thick ears, very nice fur and flesh, and overall balance, plus their wonderful dispositions!
Irish Rose #AB2 represents my first foray into breeding a commercial breed, the Florida White. She's been a super show doe, winning 3 GC legs so far, including 2 BOB wins, and her first kit to show won her class & is now part of ARBA Judge Lawrence Weeks' herd. She's just weaned her 2nd litter - they look exceptional! This site listed at Bunnyrabbits.org! |
